DOMINIC KILLINGER

Dominic started InTheSnow 10 years ago, disrupting the ski publishing marketplace that was drowning in traditional old newsstand magazines that hadn’t changed in years.

Launching the first monthly Freemium Ski Magazine in the UK through the largest UK retail chains enabled InTheSnow to quickly reach a large readership and engage with the biggest brands in the industry.

Now literally upwards of 2.5 million skiers per month through multiple digital and social channels, as well as maintaining the hard copy magazine, InTheSnow is the most widespread ski content in Europe today.

PATRICK THORNE

CHIEF EDITOR

Patrick has been a full time, year round, professional ski writer for 30 years.

Nicknamed “The Snow Hunter” he has identified 100 countries where it is possible to ski and located more than 6,000 ski areas in 80 countries, visiting more than 260 ski resorts personally.

For the past 15 years Patrick has published a weekly bulletin of stories from ski resorts all around the planet, notching up more than 8,000 reports. He has received several awards for his work and was named “One of 20 People to know in Ski” by The Times.

DEBBIE GABRIEL

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

After 17 years in the blue chip corporate world, the call of the mountains became too much for Debbie, so in 2011, her passion for skiing became her business.

Now working directly alongside the Publisher and Managing Director of InTheSnow, Debbie looks after the operational side of the business.

Debbie has a clear focus in mind; “To maintain the market leading position that InTheSnow has in the UK, and continue to lead the winter sports publishing world from the front.”

SALLY BARTLETT

There is only one Ski Bartlett and therefore only one Sally Bartlett!

Ski Bartlett was established in 1965, with 50 years of ski experience, they are one of the UK’s most popular independent specialist ski shops. During this period they’ve built up a great reputation for their technical custom boot fitting service and stock one of the largest ranges of skis, boots, clothing and equipment available in the UK and cater for EVERY ability level, age and style of skier.

When it comes to ski gear knowledge, you could write what Sally doesn’t know, on a pin head!

Rob Stewart

Gear Editor

A well-known face to all in the ski industry, Rob has been involved in snowsports for over 20 years and is a qualified BASI level 3 ski instructor and ex-freestyle competitor. A self confessed ‘gear geek’, Rob knows all there is to know about ski equipment and brings this expert insight to his role as Men’s Gear Editor and as presenter of The White Out. Rob is also the co-founder and director of Ski Press PR. 

Warren Smith

Tuition Editor

InTheSnow are thrilled to have Warren Smith joining the team as Tuition Editor for the 20-21 season. Warren is one of Britain’s leading professional free skiers and an Internationally Qualified Performance Coach and Instructor.

Known for his work in combining Ski Technique, Ski Biomechanics and Ski Physiology, Warren is sure to bring a wealth of unique experience and innovation to this role. We are excited to be working together with Warren to bring InTheSnow readers a varied range of tuition content this winter, whether you’re able to get to the slopes or not. 

Tilly Tasker

Social Media Manager

Tilly Tasker comes from an extensive snow sport background, having worked at Inghams, The Snow Centre and Factory Media before going freelance in 2020. She is a social media native, having earned her stripes through various different avenues of content creation, copywriting, video editing and community management.

Tilly is all about getting people excited for the mountains, and has a keen eye for a story or two! If you want to create some fun content to inspire and motivate people – Tilly’s your girl.
