Experimental Chalet is Experimental Group’s interpretation of an Alpine escape, complete with 39 bedrooms, a restaurant, cocktail bar & club, plus a spa, hammam and solarium.

The new hotel also takes over Verbier’s fabled Farm Club, the late-night locale that has become an institution with over 40 years of parties, welcoming the likes of David Bowie and Diana Ross to its famous dance floor. Experimental Group will restore the Farm Club to its former glory, leaving its character mainly unchanged, and introducing an expansive cocktail list from their genius mixologists.

Experimental Group’s wintertime escape will be a sumptuously crafted getaway balanced between a traditional Swiss chalet and the great mountain hotels of the early 20th century. Designed at the hand of Fabrizio Casiraghi, Experimental Chalet evokes lighthearted imagination yet reassuring sophistication. A combination of traditional wood panelling, fireplaces and bold colours upon entry create a warm buzz, with softer tones and Viennese fabrics in bedrooms for a quiet, meditative space.

Transporting guests to a different era, Casiraghi’s dining room and bar are refined, yet playful, a homage to Experimental Group’s foundations in London, Paris, Ibiza and New York where the sound, drinks, design and food all play equal parts in creating a happy mess where guests return time and time again.

Verbier itself is famous for its extensive 4 Valleys ski network making it one of the largest ski areas in Europe, as well as it’s après ski offering. Catering for skiers of all levels, the slopes of Verbier are also enticing to those looking for off-piste thrills.
