New Zealand Ski Area Plans To Buy Neighbouring Area

The Otago Daily Times reports that one of New Zealand’s best known ski areas is planning to buy Another of the country’s most popular resorts.
Cardrona Alpine Resort is offering to buy Treble Cone, famous for having some of the most challenging terrain in the country, for $7 million. It is also offering 20 years of free skiing at both Cardrona and Treble Cone for some shareholders.
Treble Cone Investments Ltd have confirmed the ski area has entered into an exclusive and conditional heads of agreement with Cardrona to sell the assets and business.
Once Cardrona has confirmed due diligence the offer will be put to shareholders at a special general meeting.
