Pop in the City comes to the French Alps, in partnership with Pierre & Vacances

The leading accommodation provider Pierre & Vacances has announced a unique partnership with Pop in the City, an organisation that arranges adventure-themed events in cities and towns across Europe.

On Easter Sunday of this year, 200 participants will take part in an eight-hour competition in the French Alpine resort of Avoriaz, when attendees will compete in pairs, taking on up to 30 challenges spanning the themes of art, culture, sport, charity and ‘the extreme’.

In addition to skiing, participants will learn how to wax skis, have the chance to play the Alpine Horn, get to take care of the famous horses of Avoriaz, pilot a snowmobile and even learn how to rescue an injured skier on a stretcher.

The event, taking place on 12 April 2020, will be the first edition of Pop in the City to welcome both male and female participants.

Pierre & Vacances is synonyms with Avoriaz and is the official accommodation provider for the event.
